I loved the deep conditoning aspect of this treatment. I completed round 1 of 3 and as I rinsed out conditioner and began comb out I experienced no more shedding on my 4a-b hair which I was experiencing a great deal before. In my mid-week comb outs no shedding, I can count the number of hair strands in my comb on one hand..that's exciting. I experienced a relaxing of the curl pattern and was able to see the stretching of my hair sections as I applied the mix. The hair was laying down through the final rinse out with the conditioner, then the krinkly curly poof mane returned. I wasn't discouraged at all, giving the above discovery, and I feel the softening too. I had some questions I asked customer service that once they're answered I think I'll have and even better turn out for round 2.
